We in Intelligent Mobility and Smart technology (IMST) provide consultancy and engineering services across a wide range of technology and data first, intelligent solutions to address local and strategic transport issues and promote safe, efficient, effective, and sustainable mobility for people and goods around our transport network.

As a Senior Consultant you will take a leading role in technical delivery through problem solving, with a focus on our Strategic Highways market.
Your Purpose:
This is a key delivery role in which you will:
- Provide technical consultancy and assurance
- Provide technical leadership to junior members of the team
- Prepare technical reports and presentations as part of project delivery
- Contribute to and lead work winning activities proportionate to your grade and experience
- Develop and grow offerings in your area of expertise
What you can bring:
- Demonstrate a knowledge of technology used in the transportation sector. Proven experience in problem solving for clients helping them navigate our rapidly changing technology environment
- Customer focus with excellent relationship management skills. Ability to motivate staff and teams to ensure effective delivery
- Strong communication and presentation skills adaptable to both technical and non-technical audiences – written and verbal and ability to influence clients, stakeholders and suppliers Ability to simplify complex problems and identify the process to resolve.
- Outcome focussed, self-starter
