Job Title: Digital Electronics Engineering Intern
Location: Edinburgh
Reports to: Senior Engineering Group Director
Job Overview:
Join us as a Digital Design & Verification Intern and work at the forefront of next-generation Chiplet Systems.
You’ll collaborate with a highly experienced team boasting over 25 years of expertise in digital electronics, gaining hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
Our Chiplet Systems integrate advanced Intellectual Property (IP) including UCIe, PCIe, Ethernet, DDR Memory, and Vision & Audio Subsystems, delivering industry-leading performance and innovation.
As part of the design and verification process, you’ll utilise a suite of Cadence Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, such as Xcelium Simulator, Jasper Formal, and Genus Synthesis, to bring these complex systems to life.
This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment and contribute to pioneering solutions shaping the future of semiconductor technology.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop experience of multiple Cadence Front End tools via bootcamp training modules
- Develop Design and/or Verification Components of the Chiplet Program
- Automate the analysis of Simulation, Formal and Synthesis reports
Job Qualifications:
- Final or Penultimate Electronic & Electrical Engineering or Computing Science students
- An interest in Digital Hardware design or Embedded Systems
Additional Skills/Preferences:
The successful candidate will ideally have had exposure to the following ASIC Chip Design & Verification techniques:
- Verilog RTL Design
- Testbench Development
- Assertion Based Verification
- Object-Orientated Programming with Embedded or Digital Design experience
