Job Description
The International Private Bank (IPB) Managed Product team is responsible for managing and implementing key strategic product initiatives and platform enhancements that supports our growing international private banking business, covering EMEA, APAC and LatAm regions.
The platform currently supports close to US$100 billion in assets under management and thousands of advisors, portfolio managers and other partners across the globe. The team is part of the firm's strategic ConnectWealth initiative to deliver the wealth management platform of the future. The team works closely with our internal partners such as Advisors, Portfolio Management Group, Solutions Product Development, Technology, Operations, Business Management and key control functions.
Role and Responsibilities
As a product owner, you will partner with other members of the team, our stakeholders and target users to enhance and optimize our managed accounts platform and products. The role will focus on supporting our managed product launches, investment mandate products and processes for our front-office users and clients.

  • Understand client and advisor needs: Supports the collection of information (e.g., user research, journey mapping) to inform strategy product roadmap and provide insight on potential product and product features that would provide value to customers.
  • Develop and execute product roadmap: With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, working with the business and key product stakeholders to define product specifications, requirements and delivery roadmap. Partner with Technology and operations team to execute against the roadmap and manage timeline.
  • Embody true "customer-obsession": in identifying and leveraging user data, key performance metrics, industry trends, and varying forms of client and advisor feedback to shape our design and roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with delivery partners: including business stakeholders, Technology and control functions across Wealth Management and the Global Private Bank.
  • Manage stakeholder updates and risk escalation: Manage regular updates to management on platform development status. Ensure key risks and issues are escalated in a timely manner and through the appropriate formal governance.

  • Proven Partnerships: Demonstrated ability to execute successfully through effective internal partnerships with other organizations.
  • Structured and Effective Communicator: A structured thinker and effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage stakeholders across different functional groups and regions, possessing strong collaboration, partnership, and influencing skills.
  • Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in Financial Services, digital, product, and/or platform development is preferred but not required.
