About this role

BlackRock is currently looking for professionals at both the Analyst level (including recent graduates) and Associate level (typically 3+ years of experience) to join our Portfolio Compliance Monitoring Team.

The Portfolio Compliance Group (PCG) sits within Global Accounting and Product Services (GAAPS), a core function of BlackRock's Business Operations & Technology organization. PCG is responsible for implementing controls and processes that ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and portfolio-specific investment guidelines. The team's coverage includes:

  • Aladdin pre-trade and post-trade compliance monitoring
  • Non-Aladdin trading compliance
  • Global syndicate offering reviews
  • ERISA and fiduciary monitoring
  • Global thresholds reporting

The Portfolio Compliance Monitoring Team plays a critical role in overseeing investment guideline compliance across BlackRock funds and client mandates. The team investigates and resolves pre-trade and post-trade guideline exceptions and partners closely with Portfolio Managers and other stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor investment guideline compliance across BlackRock funds and client portfolios, with a focus on EMEA.
  • Investigate and resolve pre-trade and post-trade investment guideline exceptions.
  • Partner closely with Portfolio Management and other internal stakeholders to maintain portfolio compliance.
  • Execute manual compliance testing and controls.
  • Identify and escalate investment guideline coding issues.
  • Develop expertise in BlackRock's Aladdin platform, trade lifecycle, data environment, and investment products.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot potential system or data issues.
  • Contribute to efficiency and process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for enhancement.
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of financial markets, economic concepts, and investment instruments; industry knowledge is an advantage.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, geographies, and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts is beneficial.

The salary range for Hungary is 8170000 - 11200000 HUF

Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model
