We are looking for you, if you have: 

  • at least 2 years of experience with an Ops or DevOps role within IT,

  • experience with performing IT Ops activities for multiple applications,

  • experience in supporting vendor-built applications,

  • experience in developing automation scripts,

  • experience with managing IT risk controls for applications in banking,

  • experience with databases (e.g. SQL, Sybase) and data structures, 

  • working knowledge of operating systems, scheduling and system monitoring,

  • ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers,

  • knowledge of scripting language,

  • strong communication skills and ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.

English level - B2

You'll get extra points for:

  • good knowledge of Financial Markets and supporting platforms,

  •  CI/CD knowledge.

Your responsibilities: 

  • dealing with incidents and requests raised by end users, performing incident and problem management according to ING’s policies,

  • ensuring the IT Risk Management tooling is updated with accurate and up-to-date evidence for our applications,

  • contributing to multiple life cycle management tasks of our applications, e.g. patching our servers from development through to production environments,

  • contributing to change management responsibilities for projects, upgrades and small enhancements for the applications,

  • performing the annual disaster recovery, security and BCP testing – completing intakes, coordinating team and sign off,

  • assisting with functional specifications for change requests towards vendors and testing release stories,

  • working with Asset Owner, IT Custodian and their advisors to ensure projects are completed in timely manner when new risk initiatives are introduced.

Information about the squad: 

  • we work in an Agile/Scrum way, following the backlog prioritized by a Product Owner. We demonstrate the results of our work to other colleagues and the stakeholders, working alongside DevOps colleagues in the UK and risk and platform colleagues in Romania and Poland respectively,

  • we fix the baseline support for the external Pirum application,

  • we onboard new collateral management services and a new Global Securities Finance trading application. 

  • we work with other ING and vendor applications to define and implement new data interfaces,

  • we make a consolidation of existing Global1 Securities Finance applications within one squad.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”.
