Infotel UK is seeking an experienced IT Transition Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the smooth transition of IT services and overseeing projects to ensure successful delivery aligned with business objectives. You will coordinate between various stakeholders and teams to minimize risks and disruptions during transitions while maintaining high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead IT transformation initiatives in complex and high-stakes environments (legacy systems, multi-entity context, high operational constraints). 
  • Ensure continuity of operations while managing major transitions and delivery milestones. 
  • Produce structured deliverables (strategy papers, architecture designs, implementation plans, governance reports). 
  • Drive cross-functional coordination with technical experts and senior stakeholders through structured governance (operational, tactical, strategic levels). 
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with transition processes and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, standards, and ITIL best practices during transitions.
  • Provide regular status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise transition and project management processes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT transition management and project management roles.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and service management principles.
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with change management and risk mitigation during IT transitions.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2, and ITIL Foundation are preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage cross-functional initiatives.
