We are looking for you, if you have:

  • Very good knowledge of Java,
  • Very good knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns,
  • Ability to write unit and integration tests (Junit),
  • Ability to create testable code (dependency injection - Spring Boot),
  • Knowledge of REST architecture,
  • Knowledge of frameworks enabling the implementation of REST services.

English level - B2
You'll get extra points for:

  • Knowledge of application development tools (Maven etc.)
  • Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle)
  • Knowledge of working with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Ability to work with Azure DevOps

Your responsibilities:

Information about the squad:

In this job position, you will take part in creating internal applications supporting the processes of identity and access management to private and public Cloud (Azure, GCP) for employees of the ING group. We use the latest technologies, such as: Spring, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure DevOps, Java 17, RHEL 8, Oracle DB. We work in a hybrid mode.

As a team we decide on the technology stack that we work with and we have space to experiment with new ones. We work with code review and version control system in a web environment. We have a set of scrum roles in our team and we are currently looking for another Backend Developer. Our clients are ING group units from over 30 countries around the world.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”.
