Software Engineers at Trimble are responsible for designing, implementing, testing and maintaining our products. This specific position is focused on back-end application development, testing and maintenance. This position requires a passionate problem solver who:
- Works through tasks by experimenting, iterating quickly, and sharing ideas with the team
- Has the ability and the desire to work within a large existing code base which is relied upon by 1000s of customers across North America, Latin America and Europe

Your daily tasks...
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications for both internal and external use
- Create well-designed and efficient APIs for internal and external consumption
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Develop database schemas and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and storage
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms, specifically Azure, ensuring scalability, availability, and security
- Develop robust automation test suites using tools such as NUnit and Postman
- Build reliable process monitoring, auditing, and reporting tools with DataDog and NewRelic

What do you bring...
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar area or an equivalent experience
- Strong coding, debugging, and problem solving skills
- First experience with one or more modern programming languages (C#, TypeScript, and Java preferred) and with Source Control (Git, Subversion, etc.)
- Great organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Eye for detail, familiarity with industry development standards/best practices
