Position Summary

Westman Atelier is seeking a dynamic and strategic Key Account Manager to drive sales, education, and events strategy, and cultivate strong relationships with our Sephora EU accounts. This role is pivotal in expanding our brand's presence and ensuring exceptional performance within a key international market.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management:

  • Build strong brand and retailer partnerships with Sephora EU accounts.
  • Successfully execute brand strategic initiatives within the Sephora EU ecosystem.
  • Develop retailer-centric strategies tailored to each account, identifying joint objectives and building a sustainable business plan for growth.
  • Influence future retailer initiatives and collaborations, ensuring the brand maximizes all available opportunities in-store and online

Relationship Management & Collaboration:

  • Continuously build credible and collaborative working relationships with both internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Education, Operations) and external cross-functional contacts at Sephora EU.
  • Work collaboratively with a wider EMEA team to develop a comprehensive omnichannel strategy that focuses on 360 In-Store and Online brand plans

Performance & Market Analysis:

  • Host monthly virtual meetings with accounts to discuss strategy, review progress, and ensure objectives remain on track for growth.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth, or collaborate with education teams to ensure product knowledge and selling skills are strong
  • Lead bi-annual Market Meetings for Sephora EU, providing key insights and understanding of competitor activity and performance.
  • Conduct thorough competitor pricing and new product analysis, along with promotional audits.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in Key Account Management within the beauty or luxury retail industry, with a strong focus on Sephora EU.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales, managing relationships, and executing strategic plans within a retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel retail strategies (in-store and online).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Fluency in English and French (highly preferred)
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and highly organized with strong project management skills.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Passion for the beauty industry, clean beauty, and alignment with Westman Atelier's brand values.
  • Ability to travel as required
