We’re excited to invite an experienced Key Account Manager to join Solenis, a global leader in water treatment solutions. In this full-time, field-based role, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing key accounts in the wastewater sector, covering North England and the Midlands.
This is an opportunity to work with industry leaders and contribute directly to sustainability efforts by helping clients reduce carbon emissions, lower water consumption, and embrace digital transformation within the water industry.

About the Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will be customer-focused and results-driven, playing a key role in delivering technical service, maintaining and expanding relationships, and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, and technical support to ensure customer success and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop long-term relationships with key municipal wastewater accounts
  • Deliver excellent technical service, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
  • Identify opportunities to introduce new solutions and drive account growth
  • Develop strategic business plans aligned with regional objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Pricing, Marketing, Innovation and Sustainability
  • Maintain an accurate sales funnel and drive consistent revenue generation
  • Help customers meet environmental goals through carbon and water reduction initiatives
  •  Support the integration of digital technologies in wastewater treatment processes
What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an experienced Account or Sales Manager with a strong technical and commercial background who can thrive in a field-based, customer-facing environment.

Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in the water treatment or a closely related industry
  • A bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, or water-related discipline
  • Proven experience managing key accounts and delivering technical value
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the territory
