Roles and Responsibilities
Employee demonstrates consistent execution through the following:
Review commercial guarantees, test expectations/requirements, and develop performance test procedures meeting all On Time Delivery and First Pass Yield.
Prepare, plan, and lead execution of thermal performance tests and system level thinking (CC Basics)
Analyze data, calculate test results, diagnose, evaluate testing issues, and develop corrective actions as needed.
Prepare test reports for internal and external distribution
Communicate with internal and external customers regarding testing activities, schedules, and technical issues
Lead continued development and improvement of performance tools/processes
Lead new service development initiatives
Lead peer reviews of test plans and data evaluation
Lead Project Kickoff, Risk Review, and parking meetings
Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCA’s) and diagnostic efforts
Lead complex project execution
Lead onsite testing activities, including resource and time management and customer communication
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in Engineering
Proven industry experience in the areas of thermal performance modeling, field testing or thermal evaluation
Ability to travel extensively in support of global assignments.
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, thermodynamic systems (Combined Cycles), and thermodynamic cycles as they relate to gas turbines, steam turbines, or HRSG's.
Proficiency in English language
