We are Spliced Inc. and we’re looking for a Lead Game Systems Engineer.
The Role
As a Lead Game Systems Engineer you will play an important role in working closely with Design, Audio, and Art to understand the requirements and build gameplay systems that are robust, easy to use and maintain, and delight our developers and players.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a small team of Gameplay Systems Engineers;
  • Engineer and Build Systems and Solutions that meet and exceed our gameplay design requirements and expectations;
  • Cross-department Collaboration and Communication;
  • Proactively identify and solve problems in the code that affect performance, stability, and maintainability;
  • Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with other members of the engineering team using Slack, code reviews, video calls etc

About You

  • 2+ years of experience using Unreal Engine;
  • Previous Leadership experience;
  • Experience working on a AAA game title;
  • 5+ years of experience as part of a multidisciplinary game team;
  • Engineering background and mindset;
  • Strong preference for Multiplayer Game Experience
