Role Purpose

The Marketing Performance team at Wood Mackenzie are looking to recruit a Marketing Operations Manager to maximise the potential of our current technologies and enhance the effectiveness of our campaigns. They will be required to effectively support planning, execution, and development of multiple Marketing technology projects to achieve our ambitious targets, whilst supporting the onboarding of a new multi-touch attribution tool.

The successful candidate, who will report into the Director, Marketing Performance, will be required to lead and collaborate with a range of stakeholders to enhance our usage of automation via Pardot, whilst also effectively developing usage of our wider range of marketing technologies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing usage of Pardot for automation and lead scoring, identifying the most effective changes that need to be made to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Supporting the team in identifying and implementing new marketing technologies.
  • Support and coach junior members of the team.
  • Proactivity in developing processes, identifying trends with ad-hoc requests to build a roadmap for improvements to current usage of tech stack.
  • Supporting the development of the Marketing performance roadmap, in particular helping to support the 2024-25 Martech roadmap towards multi-touch attribution.
  • Enhance Asana analytics for team efficiencies and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
  • Effectively communicate project plan updates with a range of stakeholders at varying seniority levels.
  • Develop and maintain MarTech documentation.
  • Aligning with privacy and procurement to ensure agreement for new processes and GDPR compliance.
  • Supporting the development of AI initiatives within Marketing performance, in particular the adoption of Salesforce Einstein within Pardot.

About You

  • Expert in using Pardot for automation and utilising lead scoring, ideally with Pardot certification.
  • Proven experience working in a B2B marketing role.
  • Strong knowledge of email automation.
  • Experience of using a range of Marketing technology tools, with examples of new implementations.
  • Experience of using Salesforce.
  • Strong stakeholder and project management skills, with the ability to focus on the highest value tasks which will drive the biggest impact.
  • Data driven with ability to present complex data into reports and deliver insights using analytics.
  • Superb communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience in managing and/or coaching more junior team members.
  • Experience with onboarding and supporting RFP processes for new Marketing technologies.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand the commercial impact of projects.
