ROLE OVERVIEW:
We’re seeking a Lead .NET Engineer to join our Technology & Engineering team, contributing to the development of a next-generation Sales Planning web application for a major financial client. You’ll collaborate with a diverse, cross-functional team to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions, helping replace manual processes with intuitive digital tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, build, and enhance applications using .NET 8, Blazor, and Entity Framework Core.
- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Work closely with product owners and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and align technical delivery with business goals.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and support application deployment to IIS web servers.
- Participate in upcoming projects focused on modernizing and refactoring internal .NET tools using the latest frameworks and practices.
KEY TECHNOLOGIES: C#, .NET, Blazor, SQL, JavaScript
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of hands on experience with .NET framework and C# including Lead positions.
- Solid experience in Blazor framework (server-side).
- Strong understanding of SQL databases and Entity Framework Core (code-first).
- Full-stack development capability, with a willingness to work across both front-end and back-end layers.
- Experience mentoring colleagues or supporting less experienced team members.
- Familiarity with manual deployment to IIS and setting up CI/CD processes.
- Proven ability to balance technical best practice with business priorities.
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in an evolving agile environment.
- Previous experience in banking/ financial sector.
