More about our mission.

Job Description

We’re looking for several Lead Product Analysts to join Wise Business, our international business account.

The Wise Business account helps small and medium-sized businesses across the world focus on what matters most to them: growth.

An increasing share of our 625,000+ business customers – and the 45,000+ businesses that join them every month – trust Wise with their day-to-day finances.

We are hiring Lead Product Analysts for several teams:

  • The Receive Risk team has developed an extensive suite of controls throughout the customer journey of our acquiring products (Invoicing, E-commerce), leveraging checks at onboarding, risk rules and ML models to strike the perfect balance between risk and expansion of our products.

  • The new Business Pricing team is building the pricing architecture for Wise Business, directly shaping our growth and ensuring our pricing fits our product offering, is sustainable and competitive.

  • The Acquiring Platform & E-commerce team provides businesses with a cost effective multi-currency payment gateway and is focussing on expansion: making the gateway available for more E-commerce platforms AND providing more highly converting payments methods.

Both in the Business Pricing team and the Acquiring Platform team this role provides the immediate opportunity to formally lead other analysts.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Derive actionable insights from data to drive the team's strategy and inform product decisions.

  • Establish clear goals, define measurable KPIs, and develop compelling narratives to help your team understand their progress.

  • Evaluate high impact opportunities, find ways to support & accelerate or identify and advocate for better alternatives

  • Ensure accurate, impactful, fast decision making with high quality analysis, raising the bar for a/b testing and helping us to iterate faster.

  • Build automated data pipelines and dashboards to minimise repetitive tasks and allow data self-serve.

  • Take ownership of complex cross-team projects to help unblock critical product decisions, this could range from tactical decisions to control fraud & chargeback risk to strategic decisions on the right pricing (models) for our products.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Technical Skills: 5+ years experience in analytical roles with strong data analysis skills.

    • You’re an expert in SQL (with the ability to write clear, performant, and reliable queries to transform large complex datasets)

    • You have experience building and owning automated data pipelines with tools like DBT/Airflow

  • Experimentation & Statistics: Experience running A/B tests and analysing the results to drive product decisions

  • Ownership: You enjoy working independently in a fast-paced environment: Identifying impactful opportunities and making them happen, triage requests by impact and you know when and how to adapt analysis scope to achieve 80/20 results.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communicator - you cut through the noise, communicating what matters in a way that people get it. You’re an expert at crafting dashboards and visualisations that bring data to life, tell a story and have diagnostic power.

  • Influence: You have strong stakeholder management skills - you are collaborative, you know how to influence using data and when to say yes or no to maximise impact. You have a bias to action - you identify what needs to be done and make it happen.

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

  • Prior experience in the B2B space understanding business customers' financial and expense management needs.

  • Familiarity with financial data reconciliation, risk analysis, or regulatory compliance within the FinTech space.
