POSITION SUMMARY

Our innovative company is looking to fill the role of Lead Programmer, .Net, IIS. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

• Analyzes designs, creates, enhances, and tests complex application software as senior personnel.

• Create, enhances and tests complex application software that operates efficiently and accurately

• Work autonomously, guide/mentor other developers in team

• Troubleshoots issues and makes recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy of application software.

• Uses knowledge of development language(s), development procedures, structured methodologies, and computer platform(s) to complete assignments and continues to expand knowledge in these areas as needed.

• Coordinates and schedules the tasks and activities established objectives and takes appropriate action to ensure that objectives are achieved.

• Employs interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively coordinate interrelated activities with coworkers, end-users, and management. 

• Reports team progress and status to project leadership and/or management.

• Provides timely status updates.

• Multi-tasks and balances multiple assignments and priorities

• Exhibits effective written communication skills necessary to produce documentation that accurately and effectively describes application software functionality.

• Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to convey thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively.

• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.

• Interpersonal and presentation skills.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong leadership skills to lead onshore/offshore resources

• Time management skills to prioritize work.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Ability to set technical direction for a project or application

Computer Skills

• Experience with application development and best practices

• Proven work experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer

• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))

• Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3

• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)• Experience with application development and best practices

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to travel up to 10%; may include international travel
