What are Aladdin and Aladdin Client Business COO/Tech Enablement?
You will be working on BlackRock’s investment operating system, Aladdin, which powers informed decision-making for thousands of users across global financial institutions. The Aladdin Client Business COO/Tech Enablement team supports the operational and technological backbone of Aladdin’s client-facing functions, driving innovation, automation, and scalability across the platform.
As a Lead Salesforce Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions that enable seamless client engagement, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across the Aladdin ecosystem.

Responsibilities Include
- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of Salesforce solutions aligned with business goals.
- Define and maintain technical standards, best practices, and governance for Salesforce development.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to translate requirements into scalable workflows and modules.
- Drive platform optimization, performance tuning, and automation strategies.
- Oversee integration of Salesforce with Aladdin and other enterprise systems.
- Ensure platform resilience through rigorous testing, code reviews, and deployment practices.
- Mentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Champion inclusion and diversity through team engagement and leadership.
Qualifications
- B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT, with 5+ years focused on Salesforce architecture and development.
Skills and Experience
- Proven expertise in Salesforce architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications.
- Strong understanding of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience designing and implementing complex workflows, data models, and UI policies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP integrations and third-party system connectivity.
- Knowledge of Salesforce security, performance tuning, and governance best practices.
- Proficiency in platform performance tuning and security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-centric mindset.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Experience translating operational needs into technical solutions within financial services is a plus.
Nice to Have and Opportunities to Learn
- Salesforce certifications: Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, System Architect, Platform Developer II.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and deployment tools (Terraform, Docker).
- Experience with AI/ML integrations or automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with Aladdin workflows and investment operations.
- Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.

Our hybrid work model
