Legal Market Sales Manager

Remote/Home (UK Only) with travel

Hiring Manager: Rob Steadman

The Opportunity

This role sits within Searchflow’s Sales function and is responsible for leading performance across two specialist sales pods: Commercial Real Estate and Residential Conveyancing.

As Legal Market Sales Manager, you will drive growth across these markets by developing the sales strategy alongside the Sales Director and ensuring it is clearly translated into focused, effective activity across your teams. You’ll create a high‑performance sales culture, embedding consistent sales methodologies, CRM best practice and a strong focus on customer outcomes.

You will work closely with legal firms and internal stakeholders across Landmark to shape and deliver compelling propositions, while developing and coaching your sales teams to achieve their targets and grow the business sustainably.

The role will involve:

  • Leading and motivating two sales pods, setting clear expectations around performance, behaviours and development while fostering a collaborative, values‑led culture.
  • Developing and executing a clear sales strategy that balances new business, retention and expansion, aligned to Searchflow’s wider commercial objectives.
  • Forecasting sales performance, setting KPIs and holding teams accountable for their contribution to revenue targets, pipeline strength and customer retention.
  • Embedding a consistent sales methodology and ensuring best‑practice use of CRM systems, dashboards and reporting to drive data‑led decision making.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders and senior leaders, representing your sales areas in cross‑functional discussions and contributing insight into market trends, opportunities and risks.
  • Coaching and mentoring your direct reports, conducting regular performance and development reviews in line with Landmark’s Thrive framework.
  • Continuously improving sales processes, including lead hand‑off, pipeline management and collaboration with onboarding and technical teams.

About you

As the Legal Market Sales Manager, you will be an experienced sales leader with a strong track record of managing and developing sales teams, ideally within the UK legal, property or professional services sectors. You bring a deep understanding of both commercial and residential legal markets, and you are confident engaging with senior stakeholders, including at partner or C‑suite level.

You will be commercially astute, comfortable setting strategy as well as translating it into day‑to‑day execution. You value data and insight, using CRM systems and performance metrics to identify opportunities, address bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.

You will also be a natural coach and motivator who takes pride in developing people, building accountability and creating an environment where sales teams feel empowered to perform at their best.
