As a Lending Business Project Manager in The Transition Team, you will support the International Private Bank in its transformation initiative to deliver a modernized platform that will serve as the strategic foundation for the business's expansion and evolution. You will represent Credit Platform Services in delivering a solution that enables the business to scale effectively and flexibly.
The Transition Team based in Edinburgh within the International Private Bank provides support to the productions teams and Credit Platform Services Leadership and is primarily responsible for coordinating and driving forward internal projects, acting as SME's on strategic initiatives, requirement gathering, testing, governance, regulatory reporting and supporting audit activities.
Job responsibilities

  • Supports the implementation and management of projects, best practices and governance
  • Takes accountability for driving project management processes
  • Is responsible for program reporting, identifying and communicating risks
  • Supports gathering and documentation of requirements for the credit business
  • Liaises with the strategic program and technology to ensure the delivery of appropriate solutions
  • Supports testing
  • Designs and conducts training for production teams
  • Supports a review of current Credit Platform Services operational processes across its regions to ensure consistency of delivery and the use of best practices across all teams


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Previous experience in project management, business analysis, change or a consulting framework
  • Detailed-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently showing initiative and problem solving, while working within a team environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively inform key messages and simplify complex business situations
  • Analytical thinker with a drive towards execution and delivering results
  • Able to support design, requirement workshops and various testing activities
  • Be a team player who is flexible and can maintain both a positive attitude and high level of performance on high demand/time-sensitive initiatives


Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Understanding of Agile methodology and Fintech tools preferred
  • Financial Services or Banking/Credit experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of tools such as Alteryx / Xceptor / Tableau / Excel / Signavio and experience in process flow analysis/mapping a plus
