The Role:
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented License Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about ensuring legal compliance while driving innovation, we want to hear from you. Your main duties as a License Compliance Manager will be to identify, investigate and qualify new compliance opportunities.
Responsibilities
• Become a subject matter expert in AGPLv3 and other open-source licenses
• Understand Apryse software commercial license models, current and past
• Take ownership on the assigned license compliance cases
• Communicate with customer/user top level technical and legal executives by finding their contact information
• Build the license compliance opportunity by detailing the customers' technical landscape
• Grow compliance market opportunities in the LATAM region
• Explain the license compliance situation to the customer/user and bring them to sales ready stage
• Build rapport with a user to transform a software compliance concern into a long-term partnership
• Understand Apryse as product and exercise the market for potential growth
• Document your work accurately in CRM system (SalesForce)
• Liaise between Apryse Sales and Legal teams
• Actively participate in team meetings and weekly trainings
• Participate in software compliance related events & conferences
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• 3+ years of previous experience in technical, technology sales or IP legal roles in the software industry; paralegal experience a plus
• Speaks fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese
• Able to understand the technical details of the product
• Able to challenge and convince the technical and/or legal people in every level at the user side
• To solve complex problems to a long-term solution
• Have strong understanding of technology and how pieces of technology interact
• Able to understand a wide breadth of knowledge (communication, legal, and technical)
• Able to work independently, as well as within a team
Assets
• Technical aptitude (has baseline technical knowledge and the attitude and desire to continuously learn in a technical environment)
