JOB TITLE:              Logistics Administrator

REPORTS TO:        Inbound Logistics Manager

LOCATION:              Leeds, UK

OVERVIEW:

As Operations Administrator, you will be a key part of the team that ensures the smooth flow of product from our manufacturing sites across the globe in to our UK and EU warehouses. No two days in operations are the same and you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of admin tasks that help us deliver a five star service to our clients. You will be collaborating daily with the SharkNinja teams, warehouses, freight forwarders and ocean freight carriers.

If you have a strong background in administrative roles, an excellent eye for detail and are looking to work for an exciting and rapidly growing company, then this could be the role for you.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do (RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Auditing third party invoices and raising PO’s on our system
  • Accurately inputting data into our ERP system, manually and via upload
  • Managing inventory through raising stock transfers and movement requests
  • Redirecting inbound shipments and updating our system and third party stakeholders
  • Receipting of inbound shipments, identifying any discrepancies and following through to resolution
  • Monitoring and resolving any system issues
  • Monitoring and actioning daily reports
  • Providing documentation to our freight forwarder for customs clearance
  • Escalating key issues to leadership proactively and in a timely manner

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS (REQUIREMENTS):

  • Previous admin experience is essential, ideally within a FMCG environment dealing with imports or in logistics
  • Drive, ambition and enthusiasm to deliver results and progress within the organization
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload accordingly
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • A willingness to learn and adjust with the ever-changing demands of a fast-moving business environment
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent record keeping
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English
  • Good level of proficiency with Microsoft suite, including Excel
  • Experience of working with ERP systems, ideally with Oracle
