Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $106,300 to $146,190; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop our North America packaging roadmap and manage projects in service of our sustainable packaging goals.
- Act as a sustainability advocate and cross-functional collaborator, driving alignment between sustainability, R&D, government affairs, sales, marketing, and customer teams to embed sustainability into commercial planning and help develop a culture of sustainability across the business.
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop decision-making tools, materials, and storytelling to map options, rationale, regulatory impact, and cost/benefit trade-offs.
- Support data collection, customer, voluntary, and regulatory reporting.
- Track industry trends and uncover new opportunities to accelerate progress toward our sustainable packaging goals in partnership with R&D Packaging team.
- Manage third-party consultants to deliver key packaging initiatives on time and within scope.
- Educate internal and external teams about packaging principles and trade-offs.
- Operate with a solution-oriented mindset in a dynamic environment. Prioritize effectively, navigate ambiguity, and move quickly from idea to execution with agile problem solving.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
- 4-7 years of relevant experience, with packaging engineering, environmental sciences, and/or sustainability project management, or related field.
- Strong communicator with the ability to synthesize complex sustainability topics into simple, actionable insights.
- Collaborative and cross-functional-excited to work across teams and disciplines to create integrated plans.
- Curious and entrepreneurial, always looking for new ways to bring value to our customers and our planet.
Competencies - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills and proven ability to lead high-profile projects to deliver results.
- Active listening skills with the ability to understand your audience, synthesize key ideas, and weave together information to create a compelling story that creates impact and buy-in.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- The ability to deliver high-quality work independently.
- Outstanding organizational skills-ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results.
- Capacity for designing and implementing creative and flexible solutions to problems.
- Demonstrated experience leading sustainability projects in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to inspire others, and to manage and mentor direct reports.
- Take ownership for actions, behaviors, and contributions while inspiring and motivating self and others.
- Work with business colleagues and external partners to implement plans under your pillar.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and ability
