Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
- Assists in creating and implementing manufacturing plans.
- Resolves technical problems and assists in applying new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
- Collaborates on the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
- Participates as a member and leader of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions.
- Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
- Collaborates with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
- Proven experience in the fundamentals of metallic component manufacturing.
- Familiarity with Aerospace specifications and processes.
- Right to work within the UK, Boeing will not offer visa sponsorship for this role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- A passion for Aerospace, and experience working in the sector.
- Applied knowledge in areas such as metallurgy, grinding, heat treatment, surface processing or NDT.
- Experience with structured problem solving (RCCA/8D)
- Lean Six Sigma experience or certification.
- Leading PPAP and/or PFEMA activities
