The Marketing Analytics Lead is key to driving the analytics effort and optimizing marketing strategy for our function, responsible for maintaining data collection, conducting analysis, and generating insightful reports to assess performance across various traditional and digital channels. This role is essential in informing marketing decision-making through data-driven insights, as well as tracking and reporting marketing budgets, evaluating the effectiveness of different channels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform marketing strategies for driving business growth and brand visibility. 

 

The ideal candidate will be a data-driven, analytical and detail-oriented professional, proficient in data collection and analysis. They should have a solid understanding of marketing decision making for a healthcare product portfolio. They should be experienced in utilizing common reporting and analytics tools to design and create interactive reports and dashboards that enable meaningful insights generation 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Manage proactive and ad-hoc analytics at the regional level to act as a strategic partner to the Marketing Projects team in key activities, such as project planning and performance analysis. 

  • Maintain robust marketing data collection and ensure data accuracy and integrity, as well as ensuring all data and reporting are managed in a compliant manner. 

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing performance across different channels (e.g. digital, websites, print, media, etc.), deriving valuable insights and trends to support strategy development 

  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives across various channels, utilizing data visualization tools to create compelling visual representations of marketing performance. 

  • Develop, maintain and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) for each marketing channel and develop metrics to measure marketing success across platforms. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for ad-hoc analysis to support marketing decision-making and channel optimization, as well as to understand strategic initiatives and ways to measure performance 

  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights to optimize marketing strategies  

  • Support marketing budget tracking and reporting, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and the distribution of resources across channels effectively.  

  • Manage vendor relationships with external agencies, consultants and data partners supporting reporting and marketing analytics. 

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements in analytics, and best practices for data-driven marketing across different channels. 

 

 

Experience & Qualifications:  

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field.  

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in marketing reporting and data analytics, preferably within the healthcare marketing or consumer health industry 

  • Demonstrated expertise in data collection, analysis, and reporting, utilizing tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms.  

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and extract meaningful insights. 

  • Proficiency in marketing KPIs, metrics, and performance measurement across different channels.  

  • Experience in assessing marketing performance across digital, websites, print, media, and other relevant channels.  

  • Experience in marketing budget tracking and financial reporting.  

  • Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.  

  • Familiarity with data privacy and regulatory requirements related to marketing analytics.  

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
