The Marketing Manager (Iberia) is responsible for developing and executing the local marketing strategy in alignment with the European marketing vision and Shift4 strategy. This role drives brand awareness, demand generation, and revenue growth within the Spanish market, ensuring consistency with regional objectives while adapting initiatives to local market needs. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Partnerships, and the broader European Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement Shift4’s marketing strategy for Spain and Portugal in alignment with the European strategy.
  • Localize and execute regional digital and lead generation campaigns to resonate with the Spanish audience
  • Adapt Shift4 branding, messaging, and content to local market requirements and ensure brand consistency across all Southern Europe touchpoints
  • Create blog content, email marketing, and social media copy targeted for Southern European audiences
  • Support event marketing, including trade shows and partner events
  • Manage PR activities and agency relationships
  • Partner with the Southern European Commercial Teams to align on priorities and targets
  • Establish strong alignment with Product Marketing to ensure timely, accurate communication of product features, updates, and launches to the market.
  • Support Iberian resellers with access to localized sales materials and tools
  • Identify market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to inform strategy.
    Manage Southern European marketing budget, track KPIs, and optimize marketing activities for ROI

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in B2B and/or technology sectors.
  • Experience executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
    Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, international organization.
  • Native-level Spanish and fluent English required. Portuguese, Italian, or an additional language is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Previous experience in payments, point of sale, or FinTech is a plus
