Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced M&A Manager with over 8 years of project or program management experience in a mid-to-large size company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional IT initiatives, preferably within the technology or SaaS industry, and experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple large-scale IT programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Oversee cross-functional teams including infrastructure, enterprise applications, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions on time and within budget.
  • Develop detailed program plans, set milestones, allocate resources, and proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Drive acquisition integration projects to ensure seamless transitions and value realization.
  • Monitor program performance using KPIs; report progress to senior leadership; adjust plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices in project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall).
  • Manage stakeholder communications across global offices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements throughout all phases of the program lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Change Management teams to deliver strategies that assist staff and stakeholders throughout the transition, supporting adaptation to new technologies and processes.
  • Recognize potential avenues for cost optimization and operational efficiencies within IT post-merger, including identifying redundancies and resource optimization.
  • Support the integration of IT personnel and processes to establish a unified work environment.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of the target's IT systems, infrastructure, and capabilities to identify challenges and synergy opportunities.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience; a Masters degree with 6 years of experience managing complex projects/programs in mid-to-large organizations
    • PMP certification is preferred
  • Direct experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional IT initiatives in mid-to-large organizations
  • Experience within the technology or SaaS sector is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams through periods of rapid growth/acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure and enterprise applications solutions is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in global environments across multiple time zones/offices is a plus.
  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
