At Highland Spring, we’re proud of our roots in the Ochil Hills and equally proud of the relationships we’ve built with customers across the UK.

We’re looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a key role within our Grocery channel — managing and developing national customer relationships, delivering strong Joint Business Plans, and driving sustainable, profitable growth.

If you’re commercially sharp, relationship-led and comfortable owning a P&L — this is an opportunity to make a real impact within a values-led, ambitious business.

What you’ll be responsible for:

Full P&L Ownership

  • Deliver budgeted Sales Value and Net Margin through robust and creative Joint Business Plans
  • Take full ownership of account performance, ensuring internal processes (including invoicing and forecasting) are accurate and timely
  • Balance short-term delivery with long-term sustainable growth

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Deliver accurate weekly and monthly forecasts and scorecards across sales and profitability
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure availability targets are met
  • Identify risks and opportunities early, with clear action plans

Distribution & Category Growth

  • Ensure the right range is available across your customer portfolio
  • Maximise distribution, visibility and promotional effectiveness
  • Partner with our Category team to bring strong market insight into customer conversations

Contact Strategy & Relationship Development

  • Build and broaden relationships across your customers’ buying, category and supply teams
  • Facilitate wider Highland Spring engagement to strengthen long-term partnerships
  • Represent the brand with credibility, integrity and pride

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines commercial acumen with strong relationship skills — someone who takes pride in their results and ownership of their accounts.

You’ll likely bring:

  • Experience managing national accounts within the Multiple Grocer channel
  • A strong track record of negotiating and delivering successful Joint Business Plans
  • FMCG experience with proven delivery against P&L metrics
  • Confidence with forecasting, data analysis and commercial proposals
  • Strong Excel capability and fluency across PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint
  • The ability to influence constructively at all levels

You’ll be analytical and numerate — but equally comfortable building trusted relationships and representing our brands positively.

Why Highland Spring?

We’re building a people-focused, values-led organisation where everyone plays their part

  • We’re a Team – we collaborate cross-functionally to deliver the best outcomes
  • We’re Proud – of our brand, our quality and the standards we set
  • We Care – about doing business the right way, with integrity and long-term thinking

Every drop of Highland Spring comes from the Ochil Hills, where we are proud guardians of 2,500 acres of protected land.

This is a temporary role covering maternity leave and will end when the permanent postholder returns.

This role is based remotely with travel to our head office in Blackford or client sites as required.

If you’d like to play your part, support our team and help us deliver for our customers, we would love to hear from you.
