Hino Distributors (NZ) Ltd was established in 1983 and is the sole distributor of Hino Trucks in New Zealand, offering an exciting range of light, medium and heavy-duty trucks via a national sales network.

An exciting position has become available for a motivated and dynamic National Sales Manager to provide dedicated sales leadership and management and leadership to our nationwide sales teams. 

What you will be doing
Reporting to the General Manager, you will collaborate with the Product and Sales Strategy Manager, overseeing the sales team to achieve maximum sales growth, profitability, and market penetration for Hino nationwide. This role will be varied and challenging; from developing brand strategy, to resolving customer complaints, to leading and coaching the experienced sales team and developing key customer account relationships. This role will be based in Auckland however for the right candidate other locations may be considered.  

Who are we looking for? 'A Top Gun Sales Leader'

The ideal candidate will have experience managing and motivating a dynamic sales team to deliver exceptional performance, preferably in the truck sales or technical transport solutions industry. You will have experience in project management, business planning and negotiation.

Preference given to candidates who:

  • Display effective leadership skills
  • Have a wealth of relationship management experience
  • Have strong business and financial acumen
  • Demonstrate success in driving sales performance
  • Have experience in mentoring and coaching
  • Are experienced in negotiating and influencing
  • Have excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
