First Circle is one of the fastest-growing fintech companies in the Philippines, providing financial services to under-served SMEs. We've already transformed access to credit for thousands of businesses, and now we're building a full-stack neobank offering multi-currency bank accounts, payments, FX, corporate credit cards, and payroll. As we enter this next phase of growth, we're hiring an exceptional .NET engineer with a track record of excellence to join us in building our Cards product.

What's different about engineering at First Circle?

  • Building in developing markets like the Philippines presents unique challenges, given the state of digital infrastructure. We are building virtually everything in-house, which is not easy, but its a lot of fun. We have a track record of solving seemingly impossible problems that defeated many other start-ups, and the opportunity ahead remains enormous.
  • We already have a core product that customers love - this is a unique opportunity to do zero-to-one building in a company that has already got a track record of delivering great things.
  • Our exceptional engineering team: we love working together - no politics, just building, maintaining high standards, and having fun whilst we do it.

Requirements
  • Natural creator and problem solver who loves critical thinking. You will not be expected to get it right every time, but you will always be asked to justify your thinking
  • 3+ years minimum professional experience working with .NET
  • Prior experience with a Cards or fintech products preferred
  • The ability and desire to consistently produce excellent work, individually and as part of a team. Our mission is what attracts people, but working on highly stimulating problems is what keeps us hooked
  • Mindset of personal growth, and a best-in-class work ethic

Benefits
  • We don't have a fixed budget for the role. When we find the right person, we will pay them competitively vs their market rate
  • Macbooks, health insurance, training budgets and more!
  • Flexible working arrangements including remote work
