About Healx

Healx is an AI-enabled, clinical-stage, rare disease biotech that is redesigning drug discovery. With 10,000 rare diseases affecting 400 million people globally, 90% of which have no approved treatment, Healx is on a mission to pioneer the next generation of drug discovery to help rare disease patients in need. We combine data, artificial intelligence and deep pharmacology expertise to develop treatments more quickly and cheaply than traditional drug discovery.

Role Summary

Our lead program - HLX-1502 - is currently in Phase 2 trials for Neurofibromatosis Type I (NF1). We are looking for a highly driven Neurofibromatosis Program Manager to advance and coordinate our NF portfolio.

In  this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to support program planning, align stakeholders and ensure progress across multiple initiatives. You’ll help translate strategy into execution, identify risks early and contribute to decision making with clear, structured insights.

This is a great opportunity to gain broad exposure to how a therapeutic area is built within a biotech environment, working across scientific, clinical and operational functions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the progression of multiple NF programs across development stages.

  • Translate strategic priorities into clear execution plans and next steps.

  • Identify risks and dependencies, and work with teams to address them. Work closely with research, clinical, regulatory and external partners  to maintain alignment and progress initiatives.

  • Analyse scientific, clinical and competitive information, and synthesise into clear insights to support decision-making. Prepare high-quality materials for internal discussions and external engagements.

  • Maintain program tracking, milestones and key documentation to ensure visibility and accountability.

  • Support the coordination of meetings and follow-ups to keep initiatives progressing effectively.

  • Contribute to interactions with collaborators, partners and the broader neurofibromatosis ecosystem.

What We’re Looking For

  • You are driven by the therapeutic impact you can have for patients

  • 2-4 years of experience in biotech, pharma, life sciences strategy or a related field, with exposure to drug development

  • Background in life sciences, medicine or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred but not required.

  • Ability to structure complex problems, prioritise effectively and communicate clearly to different audiences

  • Confidence working with data and drawing insights to inform decisions.

  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • A background in management consulting is beneficial.

  • Interest in rare diseases is required; prior experience in neurofibromatosis is a plus

  • Focus on delivering meaningful outcomes

Career Development Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone who aspires to one day lead an entire therapeutic area or take on broader leadership roles across biotech or pharma.

It offers a unique 360-degree exposure to the scientific, clinical, strategic, and operational challenges of building and advancing a therapeutic area within a rare disease – providing an accelerated path to leadership for high-performing individuals.

We are looking for individuals who consistently go beyond execution – who think, challenge, connect, and drive impact.

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, and we encourage candidates who may not meet every requirement to apply.
