Are you a strategic thinker, looking for your next opportunity within the controls organization of the Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB)? We are looking for someone like you.
As a Senior Associate in the Operational Risk Framework team, you will be a highly skilled and motivated Data Analytics Specialist. You will have a strong background in data analysis and a deep understanding of tools like Alteryx and Tableau and strong knowledge of SQL. In this role, you will play a critical role in analyzing large datasets, generating insights, and presenting findings to key stakeholders and Senior Management. This is a great opportunity to leverage your skills and make a significant impact in our team.
Job Responsibilities

  • Support CIB Op Risk Framework Data & Metrics Lead to document, streamline and deliver metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data analysis needs and develop solutions using Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports in Tableau to visualize complex data sets.
  • Perform data analysis, data mining, and data cleansing to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and deep dives into data to answer business questions and support decision-making.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and automation to streamline data analysis workflows.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization.


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • High attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, or Statistics.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization using tools like Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and proficiency in querying and manipulating large datasets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience with other data analysis and visualization tools such as Python or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and predictive modeling.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Experience working with large-scale databases and cloud platforms.


The candidate must have relevant experience in banking and financial environment and broad knowledge of Operational Risk & Control, looking to take on a new challenge in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
