At UVeye, we're on a mission to redefine vehicle safety and reliability on a global scale. Founded in 2016, we pioneered the world's first fully automated suite of vehicle inspection systems. At the heart of this innovation lies our advanced AI-centric technology, representing the pinnacle of computer vision, machine learning, and generative AI within the automotive sector.

With over $380M in funding and strategic partnerships with industry giants such as Toyota, Amazon, General Motors, Volvo, and Hertz, our technology is utilized in manufacturing plants, dealerships, wholesale auctions, delivery fleets, seaports, and more. Our growing global team of 250+ employees is committed to creating a workplace that celebrates diversity, encourages teamwork, and strives for excellence.

As our Europe Operations Manager, you own execution across the UK and Europe. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for scaling operations, delivering flawless customer outcomes, and turning growth into a repeatable, well-oiled machine. You’ll sit at the intersection of field operations, logistics, partners, and sales — making sure what we sell gets delivered, installed, supported, and scaled without excuses. You’ll lead teams, manage partners, coordinate globally, and keep the region operationally sharp while we grow fast.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

  • Lead and scale the Field Service Engineering (FSE) team across the UK and Europe — installations, upgrades, break/fix, and support.
  • Own service and delivery execution, ensuring on-time, high-quality, and safe deployments that meet customer expectations and contractual SLAs.
  • Act as the regional safety owner for all operational activities:
  • Define, implement, and enforce safety standards, procedures, and best practices for installations, maintenance, and on-site service.
  • Ensure compliance with local UK/EU health & safety regulations, customer site requirements, and UVeye internal policies.
  • Own risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and site readiness reviews prior to installations.
  • Ensure all employees and third-party partners are:
  • Properly trained, certified, and equipped to perform work safely.
  • Compliant with PPE requirements, electrical safety, mechanical safety, and working-at-height or confined-space rules where applicable.
  • Investigate safety incidents, near-misses, and hazards, driving root-cause analysis and corrective actions — no sweeping things under the rug.
  • Build a safety-first culture across the region where stopping work for safety reasons is expected, not punished.
  • Run logistics and warehousing for the region, coordinating with the US-based logistics team to ensure safe handling, storage, and transportation of equipment.
  • Be the operational owner for the ADP program in Europe, ensuring installations and support are delivered in strict alignment with ADP safety and SLA requirements.
  • Manage local procurement, ensuring all tools, equipment, and materials meet safety and compliance standards.
  • Own Amazon Fleet support performance in-region, including safety metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) with Sales leadership to ensure growth plans account for capacity, safety, and compliance constraints.
  • Support pre-sales technical engagements, ensuring proposed solutions are safe, compliant, and operationally realistic.
  • Manage third-party installation and service partners, holding them accountable on quality, schedule, cost, and safety performance.
  • Proactively identify operational and safety risks and eliminate them before they impact people or customers.
  • Proven experience leading regional operations in a fast-scaling, hardware + software or tech-enabled services environment.
  • Strong background in field service, deployments, or complex installations.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and service partners.
  • Solid understanding of logistics, supply chain coordination, and procurement.
  • Track record of owning SLAs, KPIs, and operational performance.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Global Ops.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe as needed.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels — you plan, but you also roll up your sleeves.

Ideally, we’re looking for:

  • Is execution-obsessed and allergic to operational chaos.
  • Communicates clearly, pushes back when needed, and doesn’t hide behind process.
  • Thrives in ambiguity and builds structure where none exists.
  • Can scale teams and systems without slowing the business down.
  • Thinks like an owner, not a caretaker.
  • Brings calm, clarity, and accountability when things get messy (because they will).

Physical Requirements (include only if applicable):

This role may involve on-site or field-based activities. Depending on the position, tasks may include extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking; working in and around vehicle service areas, rental facilities, dealerships, manufacturing sites, or warehouse environments; and performing occasional manual tasks such as lifting or carrying up to [15 kg], bending, or reaching. The role may also require travel, working in varying environmental conditions, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when appropriate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
