Job Description

Location: Corby
Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

About the Role:

At Arvato, we are committed to delivering operational excellence for our customers through innovation, collaboration and exceptional service. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead one of our warehouse operations at our Corby site.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and has a proven track record of driving performance, developing teams and delivering outstanding customer service.

Your Tasks:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring customer service levels and operational KPIs are consistently achieved.
  • Develop, coach and inspire your Operations Supervisors and operational colleagues to maximise performance and engagement.
  • Drive a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor operational performance, analysing data and implementing improvement initiatives to increase productivity, quality and efficiency.
  • Build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage labour planning and resource allocation to meet changing business demands.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean methodologies and best practice principles.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational processes, quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • Support the delivery of business objectives through effective planning, problem solving and decision making.

 

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in an Operations Manager role within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing KPIs, SLAs and customer expectations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
  • Experience of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
