This role, in providing manufacturing excellence, forms an integral part of the Total Supply Chain, contributing to the overall achievement of business strategy, financial targets and legislative compliance.

Accountabilities

1. Develop and implement a balanced Safety, People, Environment, Cost, Quality & Service Contract for Operations that will deliver first class standards of performance across all aspects of the agenda, through effective use of People, Processes, Technology and Insight.

2. Set and deliver SPECQS targets which support JPEL Supply Chain and relevant Regional Business Unit targets.

3. Implement an Organisation Structure that is in line with the principle of flat structures, accountable work-teams and lean support structures.

4. Implement Lean Techniques to drive excellence in execution of the balanced SPECQS agenda.

Work as a member of the IDPE Team in order to develop best practice across all Manufacturing Sites.

Take accountability for specific agenda items across all Sub-Region Factories on behalf of the IDPE Team (as required) and champion their delivery.

7.  Work within the developing JPEL Supply Chain structure to deliver agreed accountabilities associated with key Business processes such as Care Plus, New Product Development, GOI etc.

Ensure legislative compliance, and adherence to Jotun Group policies, for all products and activities associated with the facilities under your control.

Inspire, motivate and develop a team of professional manufacturing and technical managers.

In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:

Commercial and Supply Chain knowledge / experience.

Key Performance Indicators
 

Success in this role will be measured through a balance of qualitative (how) and quantitative (what) performance measures that are aligned to the delivery of the SPECQS and Care Plus agendas. These will form part of your annual objectives.
