This role is key to supporting the employee experience at Latitude, and work closely the entire People team, including Payroll. The People Operations team are the first point of contact for the People team, providing generalist HR advice and support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. In addition to managing daily tasks this role actively drives process improvement through championing P&C activities and improvement initiatives.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Proactively support leaders and employees through their entire life cycle at Latitude.
  • Drive further efficiency in the use of our core HR systems.
  • Actively work with the wider P&C team to ensure Latitude’s HR processes are seamlessly delivered.
  • Provide coaching, solutions, interpretation and generalist HR advice to the business on policy, process and systems and drive self-service.
  • Identify, undertake and contribute to project activities and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
  • Support and administer people management systems, including but not limited to Workday.
  • Ensure data integrity and eliminate defects of critical data.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and data analysis.
  • Maintain best practice and confidentiality in the handling, storage and audit of employee and broader HR data.
  • Build strong, collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including Payroll and Finance.
  • Work closely with the People team to roll out enterprise-wide activities such as annual remuneration reviews, restructures, performance reviews etc
  • Other duties consistent with the position where required and/or requested by the P&C leadership.

About you:

  • HR operational experience, exposure to high volume / high accuracy transaction processing and contract administration.
  • Demonstrated experience, knowledge understanding of Human Resources policies and procedures, legislative, regulatory and statutory requirements and the ability to provide advice on these matters.
  • Understanding of HRIS systems (such as Workday).
  • Experience with a broad range of generalist People processes
  • Proficient in Excel (e.g. XLOOKUP, advanced formulas, tables, charts).
  • Exposure to payroll systems and processes is well regarded.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and engagement skills with the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Analytical skills and capability to concisely generate and communicate insights from data.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven execution skills with a solution focused mindset, outstanding ability to be proactive own tasks and follow through to completion
