Remote is looking a visionary, strategic thinker to work directly with the Chief People Officer and People leadership team to continue building, driving, and shaping the strategy of the People team.

What you bring

  • Experience in a strategic role supporting C-Suite executives including CPO.
  • Experience working closely with a People leadership team within a fast-growing technology company.
  • Experience in a strategic people role aligning HR strategies to business goals.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to turn data into insights that drive and inform People strategy.
  • Ability to bring structure to quantitative and qualitative insights and making data-driven decisions.
  • High degree of ownership in helping frame and influence strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and drive results with senior leadership.
  • You have a proven track record for working well across teams and with external partners to solve hard problems.
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new things.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and technical communicator.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate internal processes by tracking and managing short and long term plans for the People department.
  • Collaborate with People leadership to develop and refine department goals, providing strategic guidance as needed.
  • Drive collective accountability of the CPO and People leadership team on key programs, by overseeing performance tracking and delivery of expected results.
  • Build and oversee innovative people strategies focused on enhancing the employee experience and driving business performance.
  • Ensuring that all People programs, initiatives, and projects are directly linked and support Remote Strategic Rocks.
  • Prepare analysis and documents to support the CPO and broader leadership group, including C-level and board meetings.
  • In partnership with the People leadership team, develop and track success metrics to measure the impact of People initiatives.
  • Partner closely with the Data Team to develop reporting and dashboards to provide insights into the result of key initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with senior partners across the business to drive alignment and execution in pursuit of the People strategy.
  • Own and drive high priority cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Act as an expert and trusted advisor and benchmark against industry standards to bring innovative practices to the People organization.

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce.  We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $96,000 USD - $140,000 USD.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
