We’re looking for a Performance Analyst to join on one of our projects we're delivering for our public sector client. In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping teams across the department make data-driven decisions, measure performance, and improve services for millions of users.
As a Performance Analyst, you will work alongside service and product teams to define meaningful metrics, evaluate service performance, and provide insights that support continuous improvement and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain performance frameworks and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across digital and operational services.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including product managers, service designers, user researchers, and developers to support service improvements through data.
Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that inform decision-making.
Support in establishing and embedding performance measurement approaches within new and existing services.
Apply appropriate tools and techniques such as A/B testing, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, and root cause analysis.
Ensure data quality and integrity, working with data engineers and data scientists where required.
Champion data-driven culture and best practices across teams.
Present findings to stakeholders at all levels, from operational staff to senior leadership.
Essential Skills and Experience
Strong analytical skills, with experience in using data to drive decisions and measure service performance.
Proficient in tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, Excel, R or Python, and data visualisation platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
Experience working in agile delivery environments, ideally within the public sector or large-scale organisations.
Ability to engage and influence stakeholders through data storytelling and evidence-based recommendations.
Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards and performance frameworks is desirable.
Desirable Experience
Understanding of user-centred design, digital transformation, or service delivery within government settings.
Previous experience working in the public sector.
Experience contributing to or leading performance reviews, service assessments, or continuous improvement projects.
