We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Plant & Equipment Manager to take ownership of our plant and equipment operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring every asset is accurately tracked, efficiently allocated, and off‑hired on time. Your contribution will support smooth day‑to‑day operations, responsible cost management, and reliable reporting across the business

What we expect of you:

In this role, you will oversee the daily management of plant and equipment, ensuring all assets are continuously tracked, deployed to the right projects, and returned promptly to avoid unnecessary expenditure. You will drive on cost control by maximising utilisation, engaging effectively with the supply chain, and producing clear, accurate reports that support informed choices‑making at senior level. Forward planning will be fundamental. You will work in alignment with operational schedules to ensure plant and equipment needs are met, with all required cost coding and documentation completed accurately. Collaboration will be central to your success—partnering with operational teams to enhance processes, support continuous improvement, and help strengthen the service delivered to field teams. You will champion operational excellence by carrying out inspections, monitoring usage patterns, reducing waste, and ensuring stock levels are maintained. Travel to depot locations will form part of this role and will help you stay connected to operational priorities and challenges.

What we’re looking for:
We’re seeking someone with strong experience in plant, equipment, or stock management. You’ll be comfortable using systems and data to support asset management, cost control, and reliable reporting. Strong people‑management capability is important, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and plant or stock management systems. A full driving licence is essential.
