About Skyscanner

Everyone loves travelling, but planning is not without its challenges ✈️. That's why we've spent 20 years building tools that turn travel-planning chaos into a breeze. Today, around 100 million travellers count on us every month to skip the whole “47 browser tabs open” phase and find flights, cars, and hotels quickly and easily 💻.

Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all 🌍.

Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally. (Ambitious? 💪 Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here).

Now, we’re on the lookout for a Principal Product Manager, Advertising, to help us bring that vision to even more travellers.

About the role
(Hybrid)

We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our Advertising Team, leading and developing our advertising traveller experience products. You’ll be the driving force behind the evolution of our native advertising experiences — creating value for our partners while keeping the traveller front and centre.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines, champion data-driven decisions, and launch features creating value for our partners while keeping the traveller front and centre. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, loves solving complex problems, and has a knack for turning strategy into seamless delivery.

What you’ll be doing

  • Owning the traveller experience: Shaping how travellers encounter ads that feel relevant, helpful, and native - never intrusive.

  • Setting the strategy: Building and communicating a clear product vision that inspires your squad and aligns stakeholders across the business.

  • Turning insight into impact: Using user research, analytics, and testing to uncover opportunities and transform them into measurable results.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally: Working with design, engineering, data science, and commercial teams to bring elegant advertising products to life.

  • Simplifying complexity: Making sense of the big picture and cutting through noise to focus on what truly matters to travellers.

  • Driving experimentation: Testing, iterating, and learning fast — because the only bad idea is one that never got tested.

  • Championing performance: Setting ambitious goals and ensuring your products deliver impact across experience and revenue metrics.

About you

  • Experienced ad tech pro: You’ve led product development in advertising, ideally at a large-scale, consumer-facing platform.

  • Traveller-focused: You understand how to balance business goals with user delight.

  • Data-driven and curious: You love digging into numbers, experiments, and insights to guide decisions.

  • Technically fluent: You can comfortably discuss architecture and infrastructure with engineering teams.

  • Collaborative leader: You inspire teams and influence stakeholders without relying on hierarchy.

  • Strategic and creative: You connect dots across the organisation and bring bold, thoughtful ideas to the table.

  • Adaptable and resilient: You’re at home in fast-paced environments and thrive when things are evolving.

Desirable skills:
Experience leveraging AI within advertising or traveller experiences.
