Job Description Summary:

The Principal Product Manager is responsible for leading the vision, strategy and execution of Rocket Software’s DataEdge portfolio, driving the next generation of AI-powered data integration capabilities. This highly visible role requires a strategic thinker with deep customer empathy, strong business acumen, and the ability to inspire teams across the organization. We are looking for someone who is deeply curious about data, obsessed with customer problems, and biased toward action.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define, articulate and drive a compelling product vision and long-term strategy for Rocket Software’s Data Integration offerings, ensuring alignment with company objectives and evolving market needs.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that balances innovation, customer value and business outcomes.

  • Lead the full product lifecycle—from ideation and concept validation through development, launch, adoption, and ongoing iteration.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, UX, sales, marketing, customer success, and finance to deliver high-quality releases and execute a winning go-to-market plan.

  • Conduct deep market intelligence, competitive analysis and opportunity assessments to identify emerging trends, whitespace opportunities, and areas for growth.

  • Use data-driven insights to shape investment decisions, prioritize features and guide strategic direction.

  • Customer-First Innovation: Engage directly with customers, partners, and field teams to understand use cases, pain points, and operational workflows.

  • Translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into well-defined requirements, user stories, and success metrics.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and evangelist for Rocket Software’s data management and AI-led data integration capabilities.

  • Deliver compelling presentations and narratives to internal teams, customers, partners, and external stakeholders.

  • Represent Rocket Software at key industry events, executive briefings, analyst discussions, and media engagements.

  • Inspire audiences with a forward-looking vision of AI-powered data integration and its impact on modern enterprises.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in Data & Analytics.

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, or Marketing (or equivalent); MBA or related master’s preferred.

  • Proven ability to define, build, and launch successful products and programs.

  • Experience working with enterprise customers and their data/integration needs.

  • Strong presenter with the ability to inspire audiences through customer‑centric storytelling.

  • Blends business insight with technical depth, offering both strategic vision and execution drive.

  • Uses qualitative and quantitative data to shape strategy and decisions.

  • Excellent time management and communication skills; able to meet aggressive deadlines.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, project management strength, and cross‑functional influence.

Travel Requirements:

<25%, including international travel, fluctuates to meet business and customer needs.
