Privacy Associate
Job Summary:
Join the Firmwide Privacy Office within the Firmwide Chief Data Office at JPMorgan Chase as an EMEA Firmwide Privacy Associate. In this role, you will support the development and execution of the firm's privacy program, working closely with senior privacy leaders and cross-functional teams. This is an excellent opportunity to build expertise in privacy and data protection within a global financial institution, contributing to compliance and innovation across the firm.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the delivery of projects to enhance the firm's privacy program.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of privacy initiatives across multiple domains.
  • Gathering and analysing information for privacy risk assessments and maturity evaluations.
  • Contributing to the drafting and maintenance of governance documentation, including policies and procedures.
  • Assisting in the development and rollout of privacy controls and training materials.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to support the execution of complex privacy-related initiatives.
  • Providing administrative and research support for privacy requirements in new business initiatives.
  • Monitoring compliance with global privacy laws and internal standards.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • 1-3 years' experience in privacy, legal, compliance, or related field.
  • Understanding of privacy principles and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Experience in a financial institution or regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with the three lines of defense model.
  • Exposure to privacy risk assessments or compliance activities.
  • Privacy certifications such as CIPP-E, CIPP-M, and CIPP.
  • Familiarity with privacy governance frameworks and online tracking regulations.
