Geekbot is co-shaping the future of work. We are helping companies build a healthy remote culture, be more efficient, and eliminate unnecessary meetings with an AI conversational bot. For more than 10 years, we have been running asynchronous standup meetings, surveys, and all sorts of reports in Slack and MS Teams, building together the remote culture. And now, we are moving to our new era where Geekbot is becoming an AI conversational assistant for any team in the world, supporting their daily workflows at scale.

We are proud of supporting over 190k users around the world and growing, being loved by the most well-known companies. We help them communicate effectively with their teams, organize their working life, visualize their status, and free-up valuable time to focus on the values they build.

We have prevailing principles that revolve around the well-being of the team and the serenity of the workplace, whether this is physical or virtual. We are a small team of 30 that kick ass. Carefully cherry-picked the best of every expertise, we are a bunch of unicorns in Engineering, AI, Product, Design, Research, and Marketing. We innovate, move fast, have breakthroughs, and always manage to bring our product to a shining state of 'almost perfect'.

BBQs and parties are a secret ingredient to our success, so you'll find us every other week getting together to share some love <3 (and food).

We are growing fast and are looking for a Product Designer to join Geekbot and help us create the next generation of AI conversation bots!! Willing to spend a 3-month on-boarding time at our office in Thessaloniki, which is to be followed by a hybrid working model.

If you are the ideal candidate you should do 3 things in our team:

  • Develop yourself and practice becoming better at what you do every single day.

What you will do
• Develop & deliver wireframes & prototypes to showcase your ideas.
• Interact with users & the Product team regularly, converting ideas into clear concepts.
• Focus on what you do best – design mobile & web interfaces.
• Work closely with the Product Design team to develop & expand the Geekbot Design System (in Figma).
• Work along the PO to shape the product vision of your product area.
• Empathise with end users; measure how designs perform, iterate & continuously improve experiences.
• Take product design decisions independently, whether on broadly defined concepts or narrowly scoped, tactical deliverables.
• Create customer journey maps, user maps & user flows.
• Participate in design reviews & share your work with the C-level.

What you will need
You should be fluent – with 3+ years of experience – in:
• Product design best practices with a deep understanding of mobile-first & responsive design
• Showcasing an online portfolio with strong e2e, user-centred design solutions
• High-fidelity prototyping with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Framer, Photoshop (or similar)
• Prototyping with UX tools like Maze (or similar)
• Collaborating with frontend developers & understanding backend technologies at a high level
• Working in Agile & performing in a fast-paced, iterative design process

Nice to have previous experience with
• Owning large-scale projects & shipping quality digital products people love
• Planning & conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, prototyping & identifying accessibility concerns
• Basic understanding of web technologies (no coding required) & clarity on backend vs frontend responsibilities

Benefits
• Freedom to choose when and where you work from.
• Competitive salary.
• Private Insurance.
• Opportunities to attend trainings, workshops, and conferences.
• At least one company off-site and multiple unexpected BBQs per year.
• Access to any book related to your growth and development.

Application process

  • Phone screen with someone from People Ops
  • 1-to-1 interview
  • Group interview with the CTO, Lead PD, PO, Tech Lead
