Job Description: Product Manager
Location: Europe - Central and Eastern Europe
Candidates already working in the position of Product Manager for a B2B SaaS product and in the Data-related businesses (collections, annotation, AI systems evaluation and benchmarking) are highly preferred.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Product Manager is responsible for executing the vision, strategy, and success of the product throughout its lifecycle. This role acts as the customer’s voice within the development process, ensuring that product decisions align with user needs, market opportunities, and business goals. The Product Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, manage the product backlog, and ensure timely, high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Advocacy & Product Vision
- Represent the customer within the development process and ensure their needs are central to product decisions.
- Act as a proxy for customers, gathering insights from feedback, research, and market analysis.
- Articulate and maintain a clear product vision that aligns with business objectives, and represent it in a Product Roadmap document
Requirements & Backlog Management
- Write detailed product requirements, primarily in the form of user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain, refine, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure it reflects current priorities and stakeholder input.
- Collaborate closely with development, and other teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
Execution & Development Support
- Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Track and manage product releases, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and risks are clearly communicated.
- Provide continuous support to the development team by answering product-related questions and clarifying requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure readiness for releases.
- Communicate product updates, decisions, and impacts to all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment across teams to deliver a cohesive and high-quality product experience.
Lifecycle Management & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and usage data to identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend enhancements, prioritize issues, and support ongoing optimization throughout the product lifecycle.
- Maintain an iterative, data-driven approach to product development.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in product management, product ownership, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and team collaboration.
