About BR-DGE

BR-DGE is an award-winning FinTech founded in Edinburgh, powered by a high-performing, remote-first team across the UK and beyond. Our platform gives e-commerce and technology businesses the freedom and flexibility to redefine how they handle payments.

Since 2018, we’ve been pioneers in payment orchestration, enabling enterprise brands to optimise their infrastructure and create frictionless digital experiences. From travel giants to household retail names, our global customer base is growing fast, supported by world-class partners like Visa and Worldpay.

The journey so far has been incredible, but we’re just getting started. We are looking for exceptional talent to join us as we level up.

About this role

Our product is only as good as the people behind it. We are going through an exciting period of growth and are looking for a Product Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in the development and delivery of new products and features, helping us scale our platform and meet the needs of our growing merchant base.

BR-DGE Builders – Product Managers vs Product Owners

To date, the two roles have operated as oneAs we scale, the time has come to define them clearly:

  • Product Manager (This Role): The strategist, focused on the Why and Whatunderstanding the market, defining the vision, prioritising what bits of the Product get built and why it matters to customers and the business.
  • Product Owner: more the executor – focused on the how and when: translating vision into a clear, well-ordered backlog that the development team can act on, writing user stories, and making day-to-day decisions to keep delivery moving.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own a product area end-to-end – acting as the single accountable point for its strategy, roadmap, and outcomesYou’ll be managing products through their lifecycle, from inception to sunset, and making clear prioritisation decisions that balance merchant value with business impact.
  • Champion the commercial voice – engaging directly and consistently with our commercial teams and merchants. You’ll be the bridge that ensures market realities and merchant feedback are at the heart of everything we build.
  • Shaping the roadmap - defining and sequencing high-impact features, grounding every decision in market evidence, customer insights, and clear commercial opportunities.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert – developing a deep understanding of the wider payments industry. You'll use this knowledge to spot trends, influence product decisions, and ensure BR-DGE remains at the forefront of the market.
  • Defining and tracking success – setting measurable outcomes for your product area. You’ll hold yourself accountable to the real-world impact of your products, not just meeting delivery dates.
  • Bridging strategy and execution – collaborating closely with Product Owners to translate high-level goals into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, giving engineering squads a clear and confident path forward.
  • Governing the backlog with intent – triaging enhancement requests and technical feedback to ensure the pipeline is always sequenced for maximum value.
  • Enabling seamless merchant go-lives – providing the onboarding team with the deep product context and support they need to ensure a frictionless launch for our customers.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a proactive Product Manager who enjoys problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment. You should be someone who can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues, ensuring everyone is aligned on what we are building and why. You’re comfortable managing your own workload and are happy to challenge the way things are done if you see a better way forward.

Essential Experience

  • Experience working as a Product Manager within a software or technology environment.
  • A good understanding of Agile processes and methodologies.
  • Practical experience using Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organised in a busy delivery environment.
  • Experience balancing different stakeholder requests and managing expectations.
  • A growth mindset and an interest in staying up to date with the latest industry trends including embracing AI to evolve your role

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience within the FinTech, PayTech, or Payments sector.
  • Experience working as part of a remote or distributed team.

Why this role exists

As we grow, we need dedicated Product Managers to take ownership of specific areas of our platform. This role is vital for ensuring that we continue to build the right things at the right time. You’ll be right in the thick of it, helping us deliver a world-class payment orchestration platform to some of the biggest brands in the world.

At BR-DGE, we champion diversity and inclusion. We believe that our roles should be open to everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, or neurotype. We value the unique talents and perspectives that each individual brings and try to create a fair and accessible hiring process for all.
