An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Manager within a well-established global financial and healthcare organisation. Cigna Healthcare’s mission is to become the undisputed Whole Health partner of choice to the people we serve.  You will be part of the Product and Propositions team, responsible for the creation and maintenance of individual products and propositions across all the different regions and target segments of Cigna Global Individual Health (GIH) organisation. Specifically this role will include shaping, owning and executing on our product roadmap for our individual retail customers. Our Global Individual Health business line is one of our key growth segments, and you will directly contribute in maximising our growth strategy for this global division.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of products and solutions for the GIH business, ensuring regionally appropriate, compliant and competitive new and existing products and propositions to optimise our individual plans portfolio.
  • Deliver specific delegated tasks assigned by a senior member of the Product and Proposition team
  • Research and develop strategies to maximise product/brand appeal to target customers
  • Contribute to the analysis of a new or existing product, including competitor analysis
  • Identify opportunities to maximise product exposure and sales and be an advocate and champion of your product's brand
  • Lead smaller size projects and work on product assignments of small to moderate scope
  • Complete day-to-day Product Strategy tasks autonomously, seeking advice from more experienced team members when necessary
  • Support day-to-day Product Strategy and Product Management tasks, including forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues
  • Conduct annual product reviews per the governance processes in place, including financial performance analysis and internal and external feedback gathering
  • Partner with internal stakeholder teams (Sales, Marketing, Underwriting, Actuary, IT and Operations) to:
    • support the design, develop and launch new product initiatives.
    • improve the design and development of product development and governance processes
  • Project management support for new product development initiatives, when a project manager is not allocated, working in an Agile environment
  • Participate in regional and global enterprise projects that impacts the global product suite, including online Quote & Buy journey, Regional Product Research & Design, Access to Care optimization, Whole Health initiatives  etc..
  • Understand and leverage partnership strengths and capabilities to support growth within the key GIH markets
  • Provide updates to senior management for reporting to GIH senior leadership team (SLT)
  • Communicate and work with peers in the product team to knowledge share
  • Coordinate with other global product teams to knowledge share and align where necessary
  • Report project status, resource utilization and ability to recommend changes to improve the team’s overall effectiveness

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years experience/knowledge of domestic and expatriate healthcare products and services, preferably within Product, Marketing or Sales, and preferably with knowledge of insurance industry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience of project management preferred
