Who we are

Invert is Bioprocess AI Software purpose-built to accelerate the development of life-changing therapies and sustainable products. We unify fragmented bioprocess data into a real-time, AI-ready foundation that enables faster, more confident decisions — because delays in bioprocessing cost more than money.

Scientists today are too often forced to work in the dark. Critical data gets siloed across systems, delaying insight and increasing risk. Invert connects to bioreactors, instruments, and lab systems (LIMS, ELNs), continuously harmonizing time-series and offline data. Our built-in intelligence layer surfaces issues as they emerge, empowering teams to course-correct in real time — not after the damage is done.

We believe scientific expertise should drive innovation, not get lost in spreadsheets. We're building software that enables biotech teams to operate with the speed their work deserves.

The team

You will join Invert’s Product team. This team is responsible for driving the overall evolution of our data management and analytics product. More specifically, the team is tasked with:

  • Product Strategy: Defining the product vision and roadmap.

  • Feature Prioritization: Assessing and prioritizing features based on customer needs, market demand, and technical feasibility.

  • Exploration: Understanding user problems and explore their solutions, requirements, compromises, and stage milestones to deliver value fast and frequently.

  • Execution: Work with design and engineering teams to provide direction and priority during delivery and QA solutions.

  • Product Marketing: Work with our CX and marketing team on releases, customer onboarding, and pre-sales collateral.

  • Data Analytics: Monitoring product performance using analytics and key metrics to inform decision-making.

  • Market Research: Staying updated on competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for product innovation.

The role

You will work closely with the rest of the Product team, as well as engineering, sales, and CX to drive the improvement and expansion of our product. In the near term, your responsibilities may include:

  • Driving feature development to help users quickly turn historical data into actionable insights.

  • Engaging with customers to understand their workflows, pain points, and needs.

  • Improving data quality by providing tools to assess data health and fix issues.

  • Owning the product capabilities to help users acquire, access, analyze and model their data.

  • Working with engineering to enhance data processing with automation and AI where valuable.

To us, a great candidate will be:

  • Biotech-savvy: Hands on industry experience in bioprocess or related subject matter.

  • Data-savvy: Well-versed in data management principles and analytics workflows.

  • Tech-savvy: Experienced in the world of software development.

  • User-centric: Deeply knowledgeable about user experience best practices and committed to delivering a product users love.

  • Action-biased: Willing and eager to get into the details to get things done.

  • Communicative: Dedicated to getting the right information to the right people at the right time, kindly yet directly.

  • Adaptable: Able to navigate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment.

  • Ambitious: Intrinsically motivated and driven to succeed.

Although we don’t have rigid requirements about educational attainment or years of experience, this is a senior-level position for someone who has a proven track record of delivering impact.

The package
  • High-growth startup with impactful work

  • Fully remote, distributed across US and European timezones

  • Competitive salary, equity, and benefits

  • New laptop, monitor, and accessories of your choice

  • Frequent team offsites

  • Unlimited PTO
