Job background

Do you want to shape the future of financial technology?

The Aladdin Platform team is responsible for engineering and operating the core service layer that powers Aladdin, the central nervous system powering the investment decisions of both BlackRock and its clients, and a $1bn technology business that has significant growth aspirations over the next five years. Primary Responsibilities

As a Product Manager within Platform, you will be responsible for driving the transformation and delivery of services and capabilities that support Aladdin. You will define and own the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics, and will build relationships to develop a community of internal teams and senior leaders to influence prioritisation and execution alignment.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Product or programme management experience of 2 years, leading all aspects of development from vision to delivery and adoption.

  • Technical understanding of SDLC, DevOps, ServiceNow or similar

  • Can navigate ambiguity with ease

  • Experience in defining specific features at a detailed level and delivering technology implementations using agile development methodologies.

  • Demonstrates strong teamwork values and an ability to work as part of a geographically diverse team.

  • Communicates effectively, shares compelling stories with senior leaders, and encourages teams to envision new possibilities.

  • Strong analytical approach and ability to use sound data and logic to make compelling arguments.

  • A bias toward action and a proven track record of delivering at rapid speed.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science or Engineering preferred)

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, colour, national origin, sex, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform crucial job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.
