Duties: Plan, initiate, and manage projects for high-profile, multinational IT products. Serve as liaison between the business and the technical aspects of projects by coordinating with stakeholders at all levels, as well as cross-organizational teams and their resources, to support project deliverables. Plan project stages by defining the scope of projects, converting business requirements to technical requirements, setting up interim milestones and deliverables, and defining the annual product roadmap. Identify and mitigate risks by ensuring timely delivery of projects. Facilitate the budgeting process for projects. Collaborate with customers to understand product needs and lead regular meetings with stakeholders and business teams to understand these needs and desired functionality enhancements. Present business insights and drive monthly and quarterly business reviews with senior management by collaborating with stakeholders. Report projects' progress to senior management on a weekly basis. Communicate any severe risks to senior management and business stakeholders, escalating appropriately as needed. Drive hiring and development needs for projects. Mentor junior team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years in the job offered or as Product Portfolio Operations, Product Portfolio & Delivery, Associate Project Manager, Sr./Team Lead Business Analyst, Program Management, Marketing & Strategy, Business Development, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years in the job offered or as Product Portfolio Operations, Product Portfolio & Delivery, Associate Project Manager, Sr./Team Lead Business Analyst, Program Management, Marketing & Strategy, Business Development, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: leading Payments Operations projects in the financial industry; using AWS cloud infra and Kubernetes to understand business requirements and communicate with software engineers, challenging engineers as needed with regard to timelines; automating internal processes with Alteryx; performing day-to-day jobs for project tracking and progressing with JIRA Align; engaging stakeholders at all levels across diverse functions to provide executive reporting/updates, discuss business requirements and negotiate benefits of created AI-ML models; creating executive-level portfolio status reports for senior management and stakeholders; creating Excel and PowerPoint reports using advanced features such as VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, data analysis add-ons, or pivot tables. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: designing and optimizing processes for Portfolio, Program, and Change Management governance; using knowledge of market trends and business needs to align projects with strategic business objectives, prioritize initiatives, and make informed decisions that drive organizational success; data analytics; data management and governance; Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI-ML) frameworks; Model Development Lifecycle(MDLC); big data platforms; cloud data architecture; managing multiple deliverables and prioritizing tasks with set deadlines; building consensus and advancing initiatives within collaborative, cross-functional, and matrixed environments; using MS Teams, SharePoint, Visio, and the LucidSpark Suite; managing and enhancing portfolio management across large, complex organizations.
