Whether they're strapped to electrical towers or analyzing data, our engineers test products that are advancing exciting developments in AI, sustainable energy and the electrification of everything.
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Product Specialist to join our Medium and High Voltage (MVHV) Cable Systems team. • Work with engineering and product development to ensure customer needs are considered in product design and enhancements.
  • Represent UL's technical strengths and capabilities in customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and training materials to support internal and external stakeholders.

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in a technical customer-facing role, such as product support, technical sales, or solutions engineering.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and technical concepts.
  • Very good level of English language.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Able to handle multiple assignments concurrently without direct supervision.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in the testing, certification, or compliance industry is a plus. Knowledge and experience in related industrial and international standards for MV/HV cable systems, including but not limited to ICEA/AEIC, IEEE, IEC, and CIGRE standards.
