The Role
Capco is looking for a highly experienced Programme Manager to join our Business Consulting practice in London. You’ll lead complex transformation programmes across financial services, partnering with clients in Capital Markets, Retail Banking, Payments, Insurance, and Wealth & Asset Management. Your deep domain knowledge will be as vital as your delivery leadership, enabling you to bring strategic insights, challenge assumptions, and drive measurable outcomes. Consulting experience is essential, as is the ability to operate in high-impact, client-facing environments.
What You’ll Do
Own the delivery of multi-workstream change programmes within complex FS environments, grounded in your domain specialism
Manage and mentor matrix teams, including project managers, business analysts, and SMEs across client accounts
Partner with senior stakeholders to define objectives, shape delivery approaches, and resolve critical challenges
Ensure programmes deliver strategic value, are on time, on budget, and in line with business needs
Lead client development activities, contributing to proposal writing, account growth, and thought leadership
What We’re Looking For
Significant experience leading transformation programmes in one or more of: Capital Markets, Retail Banking, Payments, Insurance, or Wealth & Asset Management
A proven consulting background with client-facing delivery across large-scale initiatives
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, comfortable influencing C-suite and navigating matrix organisations
Key consulting soft skills: structured problem-solving, resilience, adaptability, collaboration, and emotional intelligence
Experience working across both agile and traditional methodologies with a focus on outcomes over process
Bonus Points For
Deep regulatory, operational, or digital change experience within a domain-specific context
Familiarity with commercial account development and delivery assurance models
Ability to coach and mentor junior consultants, fostering domain and delivery excellence
Exposure to global or multi-jurisdictional programmes within financial services
Demonstrated ability to scale programme delivery through tooling, governance, and leadership alignment
